PONIES: The Anthology is a series of anthology videos based on My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, typically (but not always) using audio and video from the show or overlaying audio from other media on show footage. The videos are spearheaded by YouTube user ZephyrStar and coordinated by Dr.Dinosaur, with video contributions by many other YouTube users.
On August 15, 2014, the creative team behind PONIES: The Anthology announced that the fourth installment in the series was cancelled to allow the team to work on other projects.[1] On May 2, 2015, it was announced that PONIES: The Anthology V would premiere at BronyCon 2015.[2]

The first video in the series, simply titled PONIES: The Anthology, was released on May 25, 2011. A clean version of the video, with the more profane segments and closing credits removed, was released on June 2 of the same year.
