I feel as though now that we have chat moderators, we should have rules about how additional chat moderators are chosen. This is what I propose.
- A forum must be put up for the user who wishes to become a chat moderator. Users can be nominated by anyone.
- Forums last for five days, but may last longer if discussion is ongoing.
- The user needs a simple majority to become a chat moderator, but votes can be eliminated if sufficient reasoning is not provided. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lаpis Lazuli (talk • contribs)
Support - As proposer.
Oppose - This leaves forums vulnerable to solicitation of votes, as seen heavily on our home wiki I think this system is not a good idea. For now, let admins decide. – Ozuzanna 20:48, September 29, 2013 (UTC)
Support - This keeps people honest, and who are we to oppose the community's opinions? All wikis are run by consensus of the community. User:Nitz X/Sig 22:44, September 29, 2013 (UTC)
