Price of Fear is fan-made MLP game series. The game series includes multiple sequels, spin-offs, and other related parts. The progenitor of all grimdark and horror pony games is a leader and until to those days.

Price of Fear: Origins[]

The 2257 year, cybernetic and biotic technologies revolution walks around the world. The police department got a red signal from one of branches Unitetic Corp, Altreyne Tech. The communication with police squad which was sent to signal was lost, after losing the assault squad, police head accepts decision to turn for help to T.A.S (Tactical Anti-paranormal Service) organization. One of the T.A.S teams, Alpha headed by captain Shelley Velasquez has arrived to set reason the losing communication. Shelley initialized the plan Amicron, all team members should enter to Altreyne Tech from different sides and meet into the center hall of Altreyne Tech. After entering, A.I defense system is blocking all main doors. The second bad news, connection with rest members was stopped. Soon Shelley will learn that nightmares of the past have returned again.

Price of Fear: Origins is a reimagination and reboot of the first series.

Price of Fear 2[]

The center hall of Altreyne Tech is closer, and now Shelley needs to do the last thing, activation of the main elevator. The monsters interfere even to get to the first floor from which Shelley could get to the generator and restore the power. The second bad news is that around started appearing the Dark Rifts, which has a lead to else big amount of monsters. Shelley needs to figure out how to solve all issues with the elevator, and to try to restore a broken connection with other team members. Nightmare continues...

Price of Fear 3[]

Shelley has found the mortally wounded team member and got from him information that monsters have started moving to the outside of Altreyne Tech. To prevent it the AI system has activated shields, but they will delay them for a short time. The central core has a module of teleportation which can teleport all whole building, including the monsters. The team member has died, but before it, he revealed important information because of which the pony civilization can be saved from the destruction. Shelley understands what she probably won't survive after the teleportation, but for her, it doesn't matter because her family is in danger too, and for them, she ready to pay her price of fear.

Events begin in the far future, where the planet resources completely were exhausted. The story starts in 4007 year when Orbital Station Redium in system Octavus have received SOS from one of researching ships, RSG Korus. Military Command Center has equipped the expedition intending to learn the situation and help to RSG Korus. After coming too close, all systems are turns off and rescue ship in distress and face with RSG Korus. As a result, almost all ship members are dead, except for a technical engineer under codename Valtrex and assault soldier Kerrox. Suddenly, an unknown creature has torn apart Kerrox's chest and drags her deep in tunnels. Now Valtrex alone, she not only should survive but and set the reason for what happened with RSG Korus and its crew.

On March 30, 2021, was released the eponymous remake.

Events start in an alternative dimension, Vexus City, the home of technological progress and the same time the crime. To secure citizens, the government has created areas. Each area has become a home for criminals, bandits, killers, and drug dealers. One of them, Black Alley, got the worst reputation among the others and starting from the 2274 years, the area is getting terrorized by unknown killers. The bodies of victims were found too skinny like someone did drink out all blood of them.

Detective Windzie Alans arrive at area Black Alley to search the reason for all those mystical kills. From one of the bandits, she learns information that someone already has faced with killers, and it was something that looks like a monster, not a pony. Locals gave them the name, Nosferos, translation of this is the Night Hunters since attacks happen only in the night. Windzie plan to start from the investigation of the old hospital Stonebruck, who knows maybe she will find out any answers there or it will become her last business.

Price of Fear unites multiple elements, many of them are atypical for any genre. To help to distance the Price of Fear from the other game genres was created the genre Nightmare Horror. Later the games like Silent Falleym have started releasing under the label of this genre.

Price of Fear: Origins[]

Along with the original game did receive widespread community approval, the game did win several rewards with a highest reward, the gold cup. By the event Choice of the Players (from 10 to 15 November) launched by Cybertronix Games has won title Choice of the Players 2020. Currently is a leader of franchise, and moved down Price of Fear: After Dawn.

Price of Fear 2[]

Unlike the first part, the community has recognized it as the most controversial part because of the several changed elements.

Price of Fear 3[]

Became a turning point in the series that divided the community into two camps where one side did recognize it as the best part while the other as the worst part of the series and the franchise as a whole.

Price of Fear: Lifeless Space[]

On March 30, 2021, was released the eponymous remake which has moved the series to a new level. The players themselves did accept the game much better than the original. Price of Fear: Lifeless Space (Remake) did take second place with displacing down Price of Fear: After Dawn, but conceded to Price of Fear: Origins by the gameplay and general duration. In addition, Price of Fear: Lifeless Space (Remake) has become the first game that has demonstrated new possibilities of the CyberX Engine 3.
