dBPony is a brony musician and artist. His music is primarily composed of parody songs (which have been titled with genres like "Cookie" and "Titan") along Pop Rock songs. He has also listed some of his songs as Acoustic.
Reception[]
Originally, dBPony was known as Matackable, an artist on Deviantart that drew various pictures from simple interpretations of characters to simple shipping pictures and some more questionable pictures later on. On August 28th, he announced that "My music project is going to be taking off very soon." and posted his first song, Oh Sweetie Belle. After this point, his artwork began to focus primarily on relation to the OC "dBPony".
As of 2013, dBPony has made appearances at BronyCon and has the 22nd highest ranked song of 2012, Miles, in a community vote. [1]
CMC Related songs[]
Three of dBPony's first songs were related to the CMC and are called "Oh Sweetie Belle", "Lessons", and "Miles (feat. ElieMonty)", all three of which are Rock/Pop songs. With the exception of Oh Sweetie Belle, The songs are sung from the point of view of the CMC.

Released September 11th, Lessons is a song centered around Scootaloo and dBPony getting to sit next to her in class. Unlike Oh Sweetie Belle, dBPony's singing is Scootaloo talking instead of his OC. Scootaloo spends the majority of the song talking about how bored she is with school, even though the year has just begun.

Released on November 14th, Miles is sung from the point of view of Apple Bloom, who is frustrated by her lack of of a cutie mark and simply wants to get one as soon as possible. Features EileMonty as Applejack, who tries unsuccessfully to tell Apple Bloom that getting her cutie mark will take time. Miles remains a highly acclaimed song, coming in as the 22nd highest voted song in 2012 on Saberspark's list and 67 on Everfree Network's Countdown of the Top 100 Brony Songs of 2012. [2]
As of September 8th, 2013, dBPony has become inactive, and stated that he will not be producing music any longer. While he will still produce covers and original material, it is not show related and he seems to consider this his official retirement from being a musician. [3]
