Cii also known as 'Ciipony' was the pseudonym of an American musician & Pinkamena Party album project lead from New York who made MyLittlePony fan music and artwork.

The name origin comes from a combination of their real name (the first letter being a 'C' which their father would use shorthand) and the rest coming from the Nintendo Wii (due to being a huge Nintendo fan, having every Nintendo console game in the Virtual Console) which was the company's latest gaming console, "C+ii".

Original Characters[]

Ciipony was a "Level 75" orange earth pony with a brown mane and at times wore a collar, they had a blood stain cutiemark which was in the shape of a balloon and short brown tail. Their face had a reddish-pink patch which would also be depicted in a more gruesome manner as an exposed bloody wound from faceplanting the ground in what can only be described as a hardcore headbanging session, this pony really likes to "Party Hard". In early references, Ciipony had eyebags possibly due to a lack of sleep.

Apart from their pony character, Cii also had a brown quokka as well as corgi characters, one which was in a low-poly style constructed from many, many triangles. They created a model for this character over two months and was eventually seen in VR Chat, which wasn't bad for someone who'd "never seen a Z-axis" or 3D modelled before.

Pinkamena Party[]

After missing the chance to submit for the Cowbell Party album (a Balloon Party parody sequel), Cii was ready to channel their "rage" into creating the "hardest & most hardcore song" for the recently announced 'Pinkamena Party'. Production on their track had began rapidly but due to a "lack of instruments" quickly ran into a wall a quarter of the way through. They debated whether they should just submit the "core" and finish the rest at a later date. After two months of trying to the finish the song (including an idea to learn NI Massive and submit something short), they put out a call for someone to do vocals a day before the deadline. Camsy (stylized as 'C∆m§¥') agreed and spent the night (11:00pm Australia time) doing improv vocals and screaming at the top of their lungs with bars such as; "Kill it with fire" and "we're so screwed", frightening their neighbours and receiving a visit from the police, Cii would remark that the situation went "HORRIBLY RIGHT". As release day came, it was 5am for Cii and despite telling themselves they'd sleep, they eventually fell asleep at 7:30am, having many nightmares but had a great time. They were on time for the release of the first Pinkamena Party and everyone listening rocked hard. A day later however, Cii realized they had yet again failed to make it onto an album, which led to themselves and Camsy agreeing to fix up the track more, and to submit it for the upcoming 'My Little Creeper' album releasing on the 28th October 2012. This song was called 'Fall of Gloomy Town'.

Cii was first seen properly on the project's 2nd album called 'Rainblood & Vomit' that released in 2013 and thereafter became a regular contributor, especially in terms of artwork, offering their talents in illustration, backgrounds, layouts and cover art on almost every album onwards. They also created the character 'Scenecore Derpy' thematically in MSPaint for Pinkamena Party 11.

They joined the official Pinkamena Party staff team following an annoucement on 21st February 2020 that davhors was stepping back. The 8th 'Fluttershy themed' album in August 2020 was their first as staff, alongside Supersaw Hoover & Kakofonous A. Dischord whilst their latest album as staff was for the Christmas edition of Pinkamena Party 11. By this point, they had become a fundamental part of the album project.

  • The 'Fall of Gloomy Town' track was remix of Sand Joiseph's original 'Welcome to Gloomy Town' with this version being their most listened to which inspired the MLP fanfiction of the same name (latest version avaliable here).

  • Cii's artwork ranged from traditional hand-drawn sketches to digital work, they even tried animating in Flipnote and on paper.
  • As well as their Avantegarde Youtube channel, they also uploaded to BiIlDauterive & QuokkaCii.
  • Cii was a fan of Sonic Adventure 2, their low poly corgi character would be posed for screenshots in the Dark (chao) Garden.
  • They were also a fan of the action indie game '77p egg: Eggwife' and had actively followed its development for years.
  • Fun Fact: Cii stayed at the Nickelodeon Hotel Orlando, Florida in 2005.
  • Cii wrote a Grimdark fanfiction called "Stable of Fluorescene" which was a crossover of House of Leaves and... ponies.
  • Cii also wrote a crossover of Mother 3 (Earthbound 2) and G4 MLP call "Friendship Is Magic, Part 3".
