The Chess Game of the Gods Universe, often short termed 'Chessverse' by many authors, is an MLP Universe set in a dystopian universe where the lands outside of Equestria are in turmoil, based off of Rust's "Ballad of Echo the Diamond Dog" as well as Blackwing's "Griffin the Griffin". As of October 13, 2012, The Chess Game of the Gods group on FIMFiction.net is currently the largest group dedicated to a single MLP subverse, with a member count totaling over 700 members.
