Ashes of Equestria is a fanmade video game adaption of Fallout: Equestria. It is currently a work in progress, but there have been several versions released. Initial releases were labeled as demos.

Development[]

The game was originally known simply as 'Fallout: Equestria' and was initially planned to be a mod for the Fallout 3 game, by Bethesda Studios, utilizing GECK. Later the project was migrated to using Unity for a variety of reasons including the decision to make into a stand-alone game.[1] Most recently it was renamed 'Ashes of Equestria' in an attempt to further distinguish it from Fallout and to be more unique and recognizable.[2]The latest release is 'Wave 5.5' as of September 15, 2020, with a prospective Wave 6 under ongoing development.

Gameplay[]

You are limited to being a unicorn. It is a single-player, first person RPG and much of the game involves survival and defending yourself from enemies. There is a finite, but substantial world to explore. Interaction with other characters and items is standard for the later Fallout games.

Plot[]

In the game you play as the main character of Fallout Equestria following roughly the same role/path as Littlepip in the fanfiction.
